We have some excellent digital photographers in the Alamo Area (you KNOW who you are). Check the website and see if we need a photo for someone in your club or someone you see occasionally at your club or at another you visit. Capture their image in appropriate attire. Send your masterpiece(s) as an attachment to an email.
Photos from Alamo Area events are welcome as well. Again, send the file(s) as an attachment to an email.
Not only do we like the grandkids' photos, we love to let everyone know what Officers, Appointed Officers, Club Officers, Delegates, Callers, Cuers, and Instructors look like. In that vein, we need to let you know how to submit your photo. (There's NO way we can make it around to everyone)
You'll need:
An Internet connection. (DOH, you've got one or you wouldn't be here!)
A scanner (if you don't already have a digital image). Scan at the closest setting to 72 dpi. Scanning at 1200 dpi will frustrate you in a hurry!
A digital image on your computer. (either scanned or downloaded from you digital camera)
The ability to crop the image to 284 pixels wide, 222 pixels high at 72 dpi.
The ability to save the cropped file as a .jpg or .gif formatted file.
